Admission/Purchase Policy
TO THE TRADE
The Washington Design Center is primarily dedicated "To the Trade.” The "Trade" is an industry term referring to interior designers, architects, decorators, space planners and design consultants. While consumers are welcome to browse in many Design Center showrooms, other showrooms are not open to the public and do require a design professional to accompany a client or guest.
- All design professionals are required to check in at the front reception desk and must provide appropriate credentials upon request of individual showrooms.
- Purchases may be made only by design professionals and in accordance with each showroom's own policies.
CONSUMERS
Non-trade professionals are welcome to browse the Design Center showrooms on floors 1-7, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Consumers can visit and purchase directly from all Kitchen, Stone, Tile & Building Products showrooms located on the Concourse-level, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
TO MAKE A PURCHASE
Kitchen, Stone, Tile & Building Products showrooms, Concourse-level, open to the public. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
