With the 2007 launch of Artropolis™ at The Merchandise Mart, MMPI cemented its presence in the contemporary art market. Artropolis, Chicago's citywide celebration of arts, antiques and culture, attracts thousands of visitors to savor a rich menu of art and entertainment experiences that are unique to Chicago. For the visitors’ convenience and enjoyment, the international contemporary art show, a world-class antiques fair, and three satellite art shows run concurrently within The Mart Complex. Educational programs, guided tours, music, theatre and dance performances are planned at a variety to cutting-edge clubs, from lakefront parks to exclusive private parties at venues throughout the city.

Next Art Chicago is the result of the merger of two successful and long-running art fairs, Art Chicago and NEXT, The Invitational Exhibition of Emerging Art.  As the largest, most important visual arts event in the Midwest, it provides collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts with the opportunity to experience the most compelling art of our day.
