With a 75 year history, the gift and home product category is the oldest in The Merchandise Mart. Today, The Mart is the Midwest’s hub for home accent, department store, specialty store buyers, interior designers and and independent retailers come to come to find their wares.Select showrooms are open daily but we recommend calling ahead to set appointments with the showrooms you would like to visit.
In addition to daily traffic, The Chicago Market attracts buyers to our hundreds of gift and home showrooms four times a year (January, March, July and September). The January and July markets offer the addition of more than 500 temporary exhibitors, including Beckman’s Handcrafted Show, over the course of the three-day show.
