9–10:30 a.m. ASID Career Exchange

ASID7th-Floor Cafe

Network with more than 20 top architecture and design firms and leading manufacturers. Representatives will offer information about their companies, answer questions about careers in the industry and potentially recruit employees for open positions. ASID professional members will also be present to review resumes and portfolios. This is a valuable opportunity to connect with top professionals in the industry one-on-one ... don't miss it!

Natalie Banaszak, LEED AP, is a designer at HOK Chicago and graduate of Purdue University. During her time at HOK, Banaszak has worked on numerous projects including AIA's new Chicago office, several WPP spaces and two product collections with Lees Carpet. Join Banaszak as she discusses how to successfully transition from college to the professional world by exploring concepts such as design identity, individual branding, internships and the workplace.

2–3 p.m. IIDA Headquarters Student Tour

Participate in a private tour of IIDA's new sustainable Headquarters and Learning Center. Find out about the IIDA HQproducts used to create this sustainable environment directly from Ken Wilson, IIDA, AIA, LEED AP with Envision Design, the interior design firm on the project. An informational session and guided office tour will be given. Refreshments provided.
