7 W NEW YORK HOSTS IMPRESSIVE NEW YORK GIFT WEEK AND

NEW YORK HOME TEXTILES MARKET WEEK®

NEW YORK, NY (August 24, 2007) – 7 W New York™ was the Source of Inspiration during The New York Gift Week, August 9-16, 2007. Buyers were inspired by a wide variety of stylish new product, a wealth of new showrooms in which to shop and distinctive offerings and events throughout the week.

7 W also co-hosted The New York Home Textiles Market Week, which ran concurrently with the Gift Week. New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg issued an official Mayoral Proclamation declaring August 9-16 in New York City as “Home Textiles Market Week.” This proclamation was a recognition of the benefits created through the partnership of George Little Management, LLC (GLM), 230 Fifth Avenue and 7 W New York.

From product launches to cocktail parties, buyers participated in 7 W’s action-packed calendar of special events, including the unveiling of the LISCENSEtoINSPIRE studio on Saturday, Aug. 11 and the “My Way” Soiree on Monday, Aug. 13.

“With so many new companies joining 7 W in time for this August’s New York Gift Week, we far exceeded our expectations and our tenants enjoyed the most successful show week in our short history,” said Chris Collins, vice president and general manager, 7 W New York. “In today’s business climate it is so rewarding to enjoy such growth and experience so much excitement. So many of our tenants broke sales records during the Market.”

Exclusive Days

To ensure a relaxing and rewarding shopping experience, 7 W New York offered two exclusive shopping days, Thursday, Aug. 9- Friday, Aug. 10, for buyers to shop the Gift Week early. Buyers were treated to complimentary lunches at the 34th St. Café where each day featured cuisine from a different region – Chinatown (sponsored by Creative Gifts International), Little Italy and New York Classics, sponsored by CBK. Buyers also had the opportunity to shop late on Saturday, Aug. 11 at Suite Inspirations and again on Monday, Aug. 13 during The “My Way” Soiree event.

Also on Saturday, licensees and retailers gathered for the unveiling of Hearst Brand Development’s LISCENSEtoINSPIRE Studio where they had the chance to tap into a big revenue opportunity with some of the most powerful brands in America. Country Living, Seventeen, and CosmoGirl offered unparalleled product and merchandising inspiration at the debut of this unique showcase of products with a special evening reception.

7 W made Monday, Aug. 13 It’s All About YOU! Buyers were treated to a day of pampering, personalization and customization by the following showrooms:

Monday evening kicked off with The “My Way” Soiree where buyers shopped late on every floor while enjoying appetizers, cocktails and the music of Mr. New York himself – “Frank Sinatra.” Jesse Posa, one of the leading Frank Sinatra impersonators in New York was a big hit with the 7 W audience.

“Our Monday evening event was the most successful to date with the building filled to capacity for the evening,” said Collins.

Arte Italica also hosted an anniversary cocktail reception celebrating 10 inspired years.
