The DreamHome Preview Party to benefit the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO). As a fitting kick-off to DreamHome, the CSO will host a special preview party co-chaired by CSO Women’s Association members Susan Heisler and Bobbie Vender. In addition to a specialized tour of the DreamHome by the designers themselves, the evening also will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music and a chance to win raffle prizes including: United Airlines tickets; a cruise along the canals of France donated by R. Crusoe & Sons; two tickets to the Architectural Digest show in New York City, along with airfare, and a two-night hotel stay donated by Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. and more. Open to the public, the preview party will offer attendees the very first opportunity to experience DreamHome. Guests will be invited to mingle with designers and local celebrities, including renowned kitchen designer Mick de Giulio and celebrity chef Art Smith. Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) Founded in 1891, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is consistently hailed as one of the greatest orchestras in the world. Under the direction of music director Daniel Barenboim, principal guest conductor Pierre Boulez, and acclaimed guest conductors, the Orchestra performs well over one hundred concerts each year at its downtown home, Symphony Center, and at the Ravinia Festival on Chicago’s North Shore, where it is in residence for eight weeks each summer. Since 1971, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra has undertaken thirty international tours: twenty-two to Europe, five to the Far East, as well as one each to Russia, Australia, and South America.
